With prices ranging from £100-£300 it can cause a lot of confusion for people researching which magnetic rugs are the best value on the market.
What do we recommend?

Our advice would be when you are looking to buy a magnetic rug choose a rug with neodymium magnets.
There are a few magnetic products on the market using neodymium magnets and yes… our rug has these magnets too but that’s no coincidence!
We choose to use these magnets because they are the very best available.
Neodymium magnets are small, lightweight and very strong
Whilst neodymium (also know as rare earth) magnets are expensive they are also the strongest therapeutic magnet on the market. This isn’t just something we say. Magnet manufacturers state neodymium are the strongest too.
They can be small, lightweight and produce a strong magnetic field. After all you are treating an animal which is around 500+kgs with a serious amount of muscle and soft tissue to penetrate through!
A magnetic rug is a significant investment
Purchasing a magnetic rug can be a significant investment and it’s important to have all the information available before making a decision. Whilst price is a consideration it shouldn’t be the only factor when choosing a therapeutic product for your horse. Our advice – weigh up the cost of the product by the quality of the magnets!

Hi,
How long should this rug be on before seeing any benefit?
Hi Sonja, many thanks for your comment. Could you let me know a little background to your horse and what you’d be using the magnetic rug for? Best wishes, Sam
