Royal Mail Postage Delays – Important Information

 
Please allow extra days for your order to arrive or choose DHL at the checkout. Please note that during this time, couriers will be handling additional volume (normally been handled by Royal Mail) and there may be delays with DHL as a result. 
 
We are not guaranteeing any Royal Mail delivery times in December. We strongly suggest choosing DHL at the checkout.

The normal delivery time for your order would have been within 2-4 working days, however Royal Mail is struggling at the moment due to strike action.

This has had an impact on your delivery, not just by the number of strike days but also by the time it will take Royal Mail to clear the backlog.

Unfortunately there is no way of tracking where your parcel is at the moment, so please allow extra time for your parcel to arrive to include the number of days Royal Mail has been striking (since your order was dispatched), plus an extra 2 weeks for the backlog. 

Also Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend will have had a huge effect on deliveries which has been compounded by the industrial action.

Standard Services

All UK orders placed before 1pm are dispatched on the same working day (Monday to Friday). Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched on the next working day. Our standard service is Royal Mail 2nd Class (2-4 working days). Please note this service is not a timed guaranteed service and parcels can arrive up to 10 working days. The cost for this service is £4.50 flat rate. If you’ve received a tracking number with your shipping confirmation, you can track your parcel here

 

Expedited 1-2 working days

Orders received before 1pm will be processed the same working day. Orders after 1pm will be process the next working day. Delivery may take up to 3 working days for the Scottish Highlands and the Channel Islands. Orders placed on Friday before 1pm will be delivered on Monday (excluding the Scottish Highlands & Islands, please allow up to 3 working days). Orders placed on Friday after 1pm will be delivered on Tuesday/Wednesday (excluding the Scottish Highlands & Islands). The cost for this service is £7.60. DHL will either send you an email or text message to confirm an hour window delivery slot. Please note if you give instructions for the courier to ‘leave in a safe place’ this is entirely at your risk.

 

Free Shipping

Orders over £100 automatically qualify for free shipping. Free Shipping is our next working day service with DHL.

 

International Shipping

Shipping cost for international orders is based on weight and we will either use Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed or DHL Courier Service if your order weighs over 2kgs. You can find out how much your shipping cost will be by placing your item(s) into the basket and using our shipping calculator.
