Ordering the Correct Size
Measure around the pastern just below the fetlock joint. If using above the fetlock joint measure around the cannon bone.
X Small – 16-19cm (3 magnets)
Small – 20-22cm (4 magnets)
Medium – 23-26cm (5 magnets)
Large – 27-31cm (5 magnets)
X Large – 32-37cm (6 magnets)
XX Large – 38-42cm (7 magnets)

Magnetic pastern wraps can be worn for a few hours a day or for extended periods of time. They are safe to use 24/7. If using 24/7 we recommend giving your horse a one-hour break from the treatment every 24 hours as part of your daily routine.

Yes, magnetic pastern wraps can be worn on all four legs at the same time. They can also be used in different permutations ie. both on the front, both on the hind, on the diagonal and both on the near or off side depending on what you’re using them for.

Yes, magnetic pastern wraps are suitable for turnout and can be used in all weathers. We advise placing them above the fetlock when your horse is out in the field.
Dry legs are best, however for very wet legs towel dry them as much as possible. The legs should not be soaking wet or muddy when putting the pastern wraps on. You may have to clean and dry the wraps more often if you use them for turnout. Some customers have two sets so they always have a dry pair.
Yes, our magnetic pastern wraps are suitable for horses with feathers. For the best results and your horse’s comfort, we suggest positioning the wraps just above the fetlock, around the cannon bone. This placement works wonderfully with feathered horse breeds.
